Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Summary Conclusion

Francis Hunter’s teaching is a compelling biblical exposition on healing the sick through laying on of hands, rooted firmly in Scripture and empowered by faith and the Holy Spirit. He dispels misconceptions about devil’s power over believers, emphasizing the authority, responsibility, and power that comes from God through Jesus Christ and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Healing is described as a simple yet powerful act, an extension of Jesus’ ministry, accessible to all genuine believers who act in faith and perseverance. The teaching invites believers to confidently embrace their spiritual authority as vessels of God’s resurrection power to bring healing and miracles into everyday life.

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (3rd session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 3. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Summary of Core Themes and Principles:

Principle Explanation
Laying on of Hands Primary biblical method for healing the sick; done with faith and authority.
Faith and Authority Healing requires unwavering faith and authoritative commands (e.g., "Come out in Jesus’ name").
Healing Yourself Believers can lay hands on themselves and command healing in faith.
Faith in Action Healing often involves the sick person responding actively (moving limbs, standing, praising).
The Devil’s Opposition Satan attempts to sow doubt and unbelief before and after healing; caution is needed.
Medication and Common Sense Keep taking prescribed medicine until medically advised to stop; faith does not negate medicine.
Discerning Underlying Causes Asking questions during ministry can reveal spiritual causes requiring further action.
Power of the Holy Spirit Healing comes through the Holy Spirit's power dwelling in believers, same as Jesus received.
Faith Overcoming Excuses Faith must overcome physical, social, and emotional excuses to come receive healing.
Touch and Contact As with the woman with the issue of blood, physical contact combined with faith can bring healing.

Notable Healing Cases:

Person Conditions Healing Details
Gene Lilly Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes, Paralysis, Scar Tissue Crawled to altar, lay hands on him, fell under power of God; healed in 12 hours; maintained healing long-term.
Woman with Fracture Compound leg fracture with bone separation Laid hands, commanded bone growth, healed in minutes, walked without cane.
Woman with Scoliosis 30-degree spinal curvature Participated in healing service where spirit of scoliosis cast out, spine straightened physically and medically confirmed.
Woman with Cancer (Francis’s testimony) Terminal cancer, hemorrhaging Healed instantly by touching the hem of Francis’s garment, demonstrating faith and the power of God.
Tom Morrison Severe burns Laid hands despite burn dressings; able to move hands and make fist for first time post-accident.

This comprehensive summary encapsulates the key teachings, biblical foundations, healing methods, testimonies, and practical advice presented in the video. The overarching message is that healing is available to believers through faith, authority, laying on of hands, action, and the power of the Holy Spirit, combined with wisdom and discernment.

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (4th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 4. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Summary of Key Insights

Concept/Scripture Explanation/Impact Application
Mark 11:23 Faith-filled declaration moves mountains; alignment of words with faith produces healed body & life. Speak healing and blessings with certainty; "have whatsoever you say".
Difference between Saying and Praying Saying = commanding; praying = asking God. Commanding in Jesus’ name activates spiritual authority. Use authority to declare healing boldly, while praying to prepare.
Persistence Illustrated through Elijah and Elisha, personal stories, and multiple attempts at healing/prayer lines. Never give up—spiritual breakthroughs often come after persistence.
Vision & Seeing Spiritual visualization (what you see in your spirit) is essential to manifest healing and blessings. Develop clear spiritual vision; “see” healing or provision beforehand.
Power of Words Words create realities; negative confessions can bring sickness; positive declarations bring health. Guard speech; proclaim health, prosperity, and victory consistently.
Prayer with Authority Jesus commanded diseases; Paul prayed and laid hands; faith fuels miracles; not simply passive petitions. Combine prayer with authoritative declarations for healing.
Cautions Do not declare healing publicly to unbelievers if the evidence is not yet visible; avoid legalism in faith. Tailor spiritual declarations wisely; encourage repeated faith acts.
Faith Activation Examples Testimonies of brain tumor healing, woman walking after spinal injury, and instant healing of comatose girl. Trust spiritual authority, word of God, and visualization to activate healing.
Financial Vision Persistently expect and “see” financial provision in faith aligned with giving and scripture. Visualize and confess financial increase; persist in faith for provision.

Final Thought

This teaching powerfully blends scriptural foundations, personal testimonies, and practical faith strategies to equip believers to heal the sick, overcome adversity, and receive divine provision through persistent faith, spiritual vision, and authoritative declarations. The core message is clear: “Your faith and your words are creative forces that can move mountains and bring heaven’s power to earth.”

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (7th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 7. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Overall Key Insights:

  • Believers possess all authority in Jesus’ name to cast out demons and heal sickness, but it requires faith, knowledge, and Spirit-power.
  • Demons are real spiritual forces with significant but limited authority, defeated ultimately by Jesus Christ.
  • The ministry of healing and deliverance is a mandate for believers, essential for saving souls and manifesting God’s kingdom on Earth.
  • Discernment of spirits, avoidance of fear, and courage are vital, as is continuous growth in knowledge and Spirit-led practice.
  • Physical illnesses can have spiritual causes and require a combined approach of spiritual authority and faith.
  • Demons resist deliverance, but Jesus’ name and power reign supreme; believers must act boldly and compassionately.

This teaching offers detailed biblical grounding, personal testimonies, practical advice, and spiritual encouragement for delivering the sick and oppressed by demonic forces through faith in Jesus Christ and power of the Holy Spirit.

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (8th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 8. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Key Conclusions

1. Deliverance ministry is essential and must be balanced with rest and spiritual growth; Jesus’ example is authoritative, swift, and does not depend on prolonged effort or emotional intensity.

2. Authentic deliverance requires faith, love for the person, and exercising spiritual authority in Jesus’ name. Demons don't require loud shouting or extended battles but direct, firm commands to leave. Peaceful, loving ministry is most effective.

3. Knowing the identity and nature of the demonic spirit comes from God’s revelation, not from the demon itself, which only lies. Recognizing spirits tied to physical symptoms enables targeted ministry.

4. Healing and deliverance are integrally linked; ministries should embrace the whole gospel rather than isolate healing or deliverance as separate callings. All believers share the responsibility to minister as Jesus did.

5. Demonic possession or influence manifests as control over thoughts and speech, often expressing suicidal thoughts, bitterness, or hate. Deliverance restores mental and spiritual freedom and requires an honest and simple approach.

6. Allowing unforgiveness and negative attitudes gives demons a foothold. Ongoing spiritual discipline and submission to God protect believers from re-possession and spiritual decline.

7. Many physical or behavioral issues are not demonic but arise from habits or poor choices. Genuine deliverance must be accompanied by personal responsibility and testing of spirits to ensure God’s guidance.

8. Obedience to the Holy Spirit’s guidance is critical in overcoming temptation and rejecting thoughts or actions that yield demonic influence. The internal battle between flesh and Spirit determines spiritual victory.

9. Simple, calm faith in Jesus’ authority enables effective casting out of demons, resulting in healing and deliverance visible to all. Demonstrations build faith and removal of pain through deliverance validates spiritual authority.

10. Believers must continually wield spiritual authority to bind and cast out demons, robbing Satan of power and bringing people into spiritual freedom, following Jesus’ example and command.

Important Details

1. There are only 38 recorded New Testament instances of specific healings, 10 of which involve casting out demons. Deliverance ministry is scripturally significant and should be learned and practiced carefully.

2. Bob, a Southern Baptist with a limited background, learned deliverance ministry through experience and mentoring, illustrating that initial lack of knowledge can be overcome by training and faith in God’s guidance.

3. Demons cannot understand or be cast out by speaking in tongues; deliverance requires authoritative command in a known language. Demons respond to the authority of Jesus, not volume or length of prayer.

4. Deliverance must be conducted with love for the possessed person, calming them first before casting out demons. The demon spirit may control a person’s mind causing fear and terror.

5. The story of “Leo,” a demon spirit controlling a girl, exemplifies how demons can terrorize people and bring them into occult powers but can be cast out through a direct, faith-based prayer in Jesus’ name, resulting in lasting freedom.

6. When ministering deliverance, especially involving pain or inner areas, modesty and boundaries must be maintained. Male/female ministry interactions should be cautious to guard against temptation and maintain integrity.

7. Demonic spirits can lodge in specific physical areas causing chronic pain; casting them out results in immediate relief even if medical practitioners have found no cause. Deliverance can be done remotely if God leads, such as by phone.

8. Even Spirit-filled believers can be attacked by demons affecting their body or causing illness, though they cannot possess the soul. Deliverance can relieve these afflictions through faith and authority in Jesus.

9. Demonic influence often manipulates thoughts causing despair, suicidal ideation, bitterness, and lies that must be discerned and confronted by faith. Deliverance can cause instant transformation in the person’s emotional state.

10. A demon expelled can return with more demons if the person does not keep themselves filled with God’s Word and Spirit, emphasizing spiritual vigilance and sanctification.

11. Deliverance demonstrations in seminars build faith; severe cases like spirits of suicide and insanity can be cast out with faith and power, often visibly altering the person’s demeanor.

12. Testing spirits is crucial: no genuine spirit of God will curse Jesus, and true deliverance aligns with confession of Jesus as Lord and manifests the fruit of the Spirit.

13. Practical teaching on discerning spirits through word of knowledge is illustrated with real-time healing of bursitis, showing faith-based commands on nerve and muscle relaxation causing immediate relief.

14. The devil seeks to torment through pain and infirmity to distract believers from God’s Word. Deliverance and healing break demonic hold beyond the capacity of medical treatment.

15. Believers given authority by Jesus are commanded to bind the devil first then cast out demons, effectively robbing Satan’s kingdom and enabling believers to minister healing and deliverance in faith and power.

Key Takeaways

  • Deliverance ministry must be practiced with authority, love, and biblical wisdom, avoiding extremes and misunderstandings.
  • Demons can cause physical, mental, and spiritual afflictions; discernment and prayerful action are essential.
  • Faith in Jesus’ delegated authority enables believers to cast out demons and heal sickness effectively.
  • Continuous spiritual vigilance, repentance, and filling with God’s Word are critical to prevent demonic reentry.
  • Personal responsibility—such as renouncing bitterness, unforgiveness, and sinful habits—is crucial alongside deliverance.
  • Spiritual gifts like word of knowledge and wisdom enhance ministerial effectiveness when coupled with obedience to God’s Spirit.

This comprehensive teaching encourages all believers to actively participate in Jesus’ healing and deliverance ministry through faith, obedience, and love.

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (10th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 10. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Key Insights and Conclusions

  • Growing out arms and legs is the core method to reveal and release underlying spinal and nerve causes in healing. This method yields the largest number of healing results in ministry.
  • Minor discrepancies in limb length can cause major health issues, particularly back pain and related dysfunctions.
  • Many common ailments like bedwetting, vision problems, colds, and certain forms of deafness are linked fundamentally to spinal or nerve dysfunction and can be alleviated through spiritual adjustment.
  • Healing requires authoritative faith commands rooted in biblical principles (e.g., Mark 11:23-24). Authority in declaration is essential.
  • Medical aids like glasses can coexist with healing efforts; removal of aids without spiritual intervention does not bring healing. Genuine healing often occurs with these supports in place.
  • Spiritual healing also benefits from emotional and psychological forgiveness and release. Unforgiveness may block healing progress.
  • Healing ministry is practical, teachable, and involves application of both faith and basic anatomical knowledge. It can be self-administered or ministered to others.
  • The vision for healing ministry is global and supernatural, encouraging believers to trust God for “greater works” in the last days.

Relevant Biblical and Doctrinal References

  • Mark 11:23-24: Authority to command physical and spiritual change through faith.
  • Healing is attributed to the power of the Holy Spirit operating through the believer as the instrument, with Jesus Christ as the healer.
  • Forgiveness is required to ensure spiritual openness and healing efficacy.

Summary Table: Common Conditions and Healing Method via Growing Out Limbs

Condition/Issue Related Physical Imbalance Healing Method Remarks
Back Pain Short leg; spinal misalignment Grow out leg(s) and command spine to align Major contributor to chronic illness (70%)
Bedwetting Short leg causing nerve pressure Grow out leg 100% case correlation
Vision problems Unequal eye muscle lengths Grow out arms and command eye muscle adjustment Success on one-eyed blindness and weakness
Colds/Flu Chest and throat nerve tension Grow out arms; relax muscles Preventative measure
Deafness (nerve type) Damaged auditory nerve via spine Grow out arm or leg to release nerve 38/40 cases healed
Tendonitis Shortened tendons Command tendons to relax Demonstrated in tennis elbow healing
Muscle cramps Tight muscles Command muscles to relax Includes relieving "charley horse"

This comprehensive and faith-based healing approach, combining anatomical principles with spiritual authority, constitutes the major teaching of the session presented by Francis Hunter at the City of Light School of Ministry.

Terminology and Definitions:

Term Definition/Explanation
Dunamis Greek term meaning power, strength, or miracle-working power, referring to the Spirit’s energy.
Pelvic Bone The lower bone on the body often misidentified as the “hip bone”; its rotation influences posture and lower body alignment.
Sacrum Triangular bone at the base of the spine that moves with breathing and affects nerve function.
Lordosis Excessive inward curvature of the lumbar spine.
TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) Joint connecting the jaw to the skull; impacts over one-third of brain impulses via nerves.
TNT Dynamite (Neck Thing) A spiritual healing procedure involving cervical vertebrae adjustments, releasing nerve tension.

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (12th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 12. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Key Insights and Conclusions

  • Healing is integral to the gospel, inseparable from salvation and empowerment by the Holy Spirit—a true "package deal."
  • Jesus bore every disease and sin on the cross, making healing accessible and promised for today.
  • Praise and faith are critical catalysts for healing; focusing on God's power activates recovery.
  • Miracles occur spontaneously and publicly, such as on airplanes and in public meetings, confirming God's active presence today.
  • Deliverance from sickness, bad habits, and sin work hand-in-hand through spiritual authority given to believers.
  • Physical demonstrations of healing (pain relief, limb adjustment, growth) validate faith claims and build community faith.
  • Generational curses and inherited sickness can be broken by faith and prayer using Jesus' authority.
  • Salvation leads naturally to the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which equips believers to receive and minister healing.
  • The ministry emphasizes obedience, faith, and praise as practical steps to fully receive healing.

This service vividly models a holistic Christian healing ministry anchored in scripture, faith, and experiential miracles.

Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (13th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 13. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Term Definition / Explanation Scripture Reference
Baptism with the Holy Spirit An empowerment experience following salvation involving filling with the Spirit and speaking in tongues. Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38-39
Speaking in Tongues Spiritual language spoken as a sign of receiving the Spirit; personal prayer language or public prophetic gift. 1 Corinthians 14; Acts 2:4
Gift of the Holy Spirit The gift given to believers enabling spiritual empowerment and gifts; often evidenced by tongues. Acts 2:38-39
Prayer Language (Earth to Heaven) Personal prayer in tongues directly to God, no interpretation needed. Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 14:2
Gift of Tongues (Heaven to Earth) Prophetic tongues spoken publicly to edify congregations, requiring interpretation. 1 Corinthians 14
Ministering Baptism The process of guiding others to receive the baptism with the Holy Spirit by instruction and hands-on prayer. Acts 2, Acts 19
Priming the Pump Initial human effort in making syllable sounds that the Spirit transforms into the prayer language.
Overcoming Doubt Immediate prayer in tongues to counter devil’s lies questioning the baptism received.

Summary Conclusion:
This teaching provides a comprehensive, scripturally grounded, practical guide to ministering and receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing the importance of clear instruction, active participation by recipients (speaking sounds with mouth opened), and understanding the difference between personal prayer language and public messages in tongues. It dispels misconceptions that the experience is too supernatural or mystical to instruct and encourages pastors and believers to routinely minister the baptism and support growth in spiritual gifts. Frequent prayer in tongues is highlighted as essential for spiritual empowerment, ministry effectiveness, and overcoming spiritual opposition.

Overall, the teaching stresses that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is both a gift and a responsibility accessible to all believers, with clear evidences and defined biblical examples, to empower them in their walk and witness for Christ.
