Charles and Francis Hunter - How to Heal the Sick (14th session)

This is a summary of the core themes and principles taught by Charles and Francis Hunter in How to Heal the Sick session 14. Tap the image to enlarge it, so you can see everything clearly.

Key Insights:

  • Imminent return of Jesus demands a pure church free of sin and blemishes.
  • Sin is equal in God's eyes, whether small habits or large moral failings, requiring repentance.
  • Baptism in the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues is an essential empowerment for believers.
  • Tongues are a supernatural prayer language, enabling intimate communication with God and spiritual power.
  • The spiritual gifts, such as healing and the word of knowledge, are active and necessary in ministry today.
  • The great commission includes making disciples, performing miracles, and healing the sick with the Holy Spirit’s power.
  • Large-scale healing explosions (mass healing events) are part of the prophetic end-time movement.
  • Believers are called to be faithful laborers, duplicating themselves in new disciples empowered by the Spirit.
  • The goal is the preparation of the spotless bride for the rapture and Christ’s return.

Summary Table of Spiritual Gifts Mentioned

Gift of the Spirit Description
Speaking in Tongues  | Supernatural prayer language used to pray to God
Word of Knowledge  | Supernaturally discerning details about needs of others
Healing  | Power to restore health through prayer and laying on hands
Casting out Demons  | Authority to expel evil spirits causing affliction

This content encourages believers toward holiness, spiritual empowerment, active evangelism, and confidence in the power of God to perform miracles as a demonstration of the gospel in the last days before Jesus’s return.

I also recommend The Name of Jesus and my daughter's poem, Faith Should Not Depend on Feeling, which she wrote the same day she received a divine healing in her body.  You may also access my blog directory at "Writing for the Master."

Do You Want to Know Him?
If you want to know Jesus personally, you can. It all begins when you repent and believe in Jesus.  Do you know what God's Word, the Bible says?

“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.’” (Mar 1:14b-15).  He preached that we must repent and believe.

Please see my explanation of this in my post called "Do You Want to Know Jesus?"
